Building the next generation of creators.
To empower the next generation of creators, problem-solvers and future leaders - one project at a time.
Our story
Hikora began with a simple belief: every child deserves to be a creator of technology, not just a consumer of it.
We saw too many bright, curious kids switched off by dry, theory-heavy lessons - so we built something different. A place where 7-18 year olds will learn to write real code and program real robots - progressing from block coding to Python, sensors, autonomous robotics and introductory AI - guided by mentors we're choosing for how well they teach, not just what they know. It's the preparation a world reshaped by AI actually demands.
Our doors are open in Leicester - and we're on a mission to help young people discover confidence, creativity and a love of learning that lasts well beyond the classroom.

What we stand for
Six principles guide everything we do - from how we teach to how we treat every family.
Safe & Trusted
Every adult who works with a class will hold an enhanced DBS check and first-aid training before they work with children - in a room built so every child belongs.
A High Bar for Mentors
We're hiring the teaching team now, and the bar is set: real industry experience, and the patience to make complex ideas click.
Project-Based
Kids will learn by building real things they're proud of. Every session is built to end with something to show.
Built for What's Next
The world is being reshaped by AI and automation. We're here to prepare young people to build with technology, not just consume it - real code, real engineering thinking, the skills tomorrow's work will demand.
Personal Progress
Classes are capped at eight, with an individual pathway for each child - so every child is challenged at just the right level.
Serious, and genuinely enjoyed
We'll hold a real academic bar - and make it something children want to turn up for. Depth is the point; enjoyment is how it sticks.
Meet the founders
Hikora is built and run by two people who care deeply about getting this right for your child.
Redwaan Maxamed
Founder · IT & Cybersecurity
Redwaan founded Hikora after years working in IT and cybersecurity, where he kept seeing the same pattern: young people growing up fluent in technology, but almost never the ones who build it.
He set out to change that, bringing his industry experience together with a love of teaching. The result is a place where 7-18 year-olds learn to build technology, not just use it.
Tarik Mokthar
Co-founder · Operations & Architecture
Tarik brings the operations and design backbone. He has spent years improving how brands look and work online, and he has tutored young people in IT and STEM along the way.
At Hikora he makes sure every programme is well built and well run, from the way a session is structured to what a child takes away from it.
Hikora Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17241378
