Terms & Conditions

Hikora is a technology academy for young people aged 7-18. Classes are taught in person in Leicester. There are no online, live-online or remote classes.

Booking a free trial lesson carries no obligation and no payment. The booking is confirmed on screen when you send the form, and we email you the details; you can change or cancel it at any time by replying to that email or calling us. Our Tech Academy classes are booked separately, with full details and current pricing confirmed before you pay; the payment and cancellation terms that apply are set out in the next section.

Classes are billed as a simple monthly subscription. There is no long-term contract and no minimum term: you can pause or cancel at any time, without a cancellation fee.

We don't refund individual missed sessions - pausing your membership exists for exactly that. If we have to cancel a session and can't offer your child an alternative, we will credit or refund it.

Families with more than one child at Hikora receive a sibling discount, confirmed at enrolment.

Current fees and payment schedules are confirmed at the point of enrolment and form part of these terms.

Holiday camps are booked by contacting us first, on WhatsApp or by phone, and are paid for in full by card through a secure link to the online booking system we use to run our classes, which we send you once a place has been agreed. A place is confirmed once payment has been taken. Camps run on fixed dates, which means the 14-day cancellation right that applies to most online purchases does not apply to them (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(h)).

If you cancel, or your child does not attend, we cannot refund the place. Where we can, we will transfer it to a sibling or to a future camp instead - please tell us as early as you can, because the earlier we know, the more likely a transfer is. If we have to cancel a camp day, you will receive a full refund for that day or, if you prefer, a transfer to a future camp.

The published price for each camp includes everything your child needs for it. A sibling discount applies when more than one child from the same family attends the same camp; we apply it when you tell us before booking.

The safety of every child is our priority. We expect respectful conduct from all participants and will run our classes accordingly. Full details are set out in our Safeguarding & Child Protection policy, available from the footer of this site.

Course materials remain our property. Projects your child creates belong to them - we're just proud to help build them.

We will deliver our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
