What ages do you teach?

Hikora is for young people aged 7-18. We group students by age and ability so every child is challenged at just the right level.

Does my child need any prior experience?

Not at all. Most students start as complete beginners. Our pathways take them from their very first steps to advanced projects, at their own pace.

What do you teach?

Coding and robotics - real code and real robots - with AI and game development built into the projects, so your child builds real things from day one. It's the grounding a world reshaped by AI actually rewards: the people who build the technology, not just use it.

When do classes start, and how do I join?

Our weekly and weekend classes launch on 24 August 2026. Join the waiting list and we'll be in touch with enrolment details and priority booking.

How much does it cost?

We keep classes small (max 10) for personalised attention. When you join the waiting list, we'll share everything you need to book your child's place - dates, times and how to get started.

Are classes online or in person?

Both. We run in-person classes in Leicester (Mowmacre Sports & Education Centre, Thurcaston Rd) and live, mentor-led online classes.

How big are the classes?

Classes are capped at 10 students, so every child gets personal attention from a mentor who knows them by name and tracks their progress.

Are your mentors qualified and vetted?

Yes. Every adult working with children is experienced, enhanced-DBS-checked and first-aid trained, in a safe, supportive, safeguarding-first environment.

What equipment does my child need?

For most classes, just a computer with an internet connection. Robotics kits are provided in our centre or available to loan.

Will my child get anything to show for it?

Accepted Answer

Yes - every child leaves with real projects they built, a Hikora certificate, and a progress update so you can see exactly how they're getting on.

Is there a long-term commitment?

No long-term contracts - we earn your continued trust term by term, and joining the waiting list carries no obligation and no payment.
